Whichever office you choose, your care follows the standards Dr. Kristi Mendoza, Au.D., has built since 1991. That means a hearing test in a professional sound booth, results explained in plain language, and Real Ear Measurement on every new hearing aid and annual check-up. We fit all major manufacturers, so the recommendation fits your hearing and budget. Veterans are welcome through the VA Community Care Network, and federal workers through OWCP.

It depends on where you live. In the High Desert, our Apple Valley office on Wika Rd is convenient for Victorville and Lucerne Valley, and our Jess Ranch office on Town Center Dr is often closer for Hesperia, Phelan, and Oak Hills. In the San Gabriel Valley, our La Verne office serves Claremont, San Dimas, Pomona, and Glendora. Mostly, yes. Our Apple Valley, Jess Ranch, and La Verne offices are open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Visalia sees patients Monday through Friday by appointment only. All four offices are closed on weekends. Hearing tests and fittings are scheduled ahead, so the best first step is to call or text (760) 503-1700. You can also send a Request a Callback form with your preferred location, and our patient care team will get back to you.
Yes, in many cases. Telehealth appointments work well for questions and check-ins. If your hearing aids support it, remote programming lets us adjust them through your phone app while you stay home. Curbside service means you can stay in the car for quick fittings, cleanings, and adjustments, and mail-in repairs are available when a device needs bench work. A full hearing evaluation is done in our professional sound booth, so plan on one office visit for that. Adult children and caregivers are welcome to call on a parent's behalf at (760) 503-1700.
Yes. Every Optimum Audiology location accepts most major insurance plans, and our billing team handles benefit checks so you know what's covered before your visit. We work with VA Community Care for eligible Veterans, Workers' Compensation, and OWCP for federal employees. For costs insurance doesn't cover, we take all major credit cards and offer Cherry and CareCredit financing, including 0% APR options for qualifying patients.
